Coming out of Udine, Italy, Despite Exile is seen as one of the most promising emerging acts in the Italian prog/deathcore scene. The band started touring in 2010 supporting the first EP “Scarlet Reverie” all around Italy and playing in France for the first time.
At the beginning of 2012 the first music video “Perfection Neutralized” (directed by Andrea Larosa) introduced “Re-Evolve”, a 3-tracks EP which brought the band’s sound to a new and more mature level and has been critically acclaimed on the net with several great reviews.

These 3 years of hard work and promotion led to the first album which has been recorded in February 2013 and mixed & mastered by Simone Mularoni @ Domination Studio. 10 tracks of modern deathcore combining furious blastbeats and fast deathmetal-oriented riffs with heavy breakdowns and epic melodies.

During these years the band shared the stage with international bands such as Texas In July, Heart In Hand, It Prevails, The Algorithm, Hopes Die Last, Ready Set Fall, Apostate, A Traitor Like Judas, Upon This Dawning and many local acts, quickly increasing its fanbase around Italy and Europe.
